Aptiv’s CES 2023 exhibit featured a sustainable take on stunning activations

20 January 2023

More than 20 years ago, Aptiv was the first auto industry company to exhibit at CES, and they continually impress with their latest innovations in vehicle technology. Our team was thrilled to once again support Aptiv with the design and build of another impressive pavilion and innovative technology displays.

Aptiv and the newly acquired Wind River debuted their joint solution – the industry’s first end-to-end, cloud-native DevOps platform.

The central feature of Aptiv’s exhibit was a stunning weather chamber that demonstrated how the company’s sixth-generation ADAS platform, in a production model Ford Mustang Mach-E, achieves high-performance in all weather conditions. In addition, attendees could take a demo ride to experience firsthand how innovative technology, such as ultra-wideband (UWB), helps precisely determine the location of objects in or around the vehicle.

Central to the exhibit was Aptiv’s commitment to sustainability. Materials used included recyclable vinyl and recycled rubber which made up the exterior floor. The structure frame, walls and roof were all 100% reusable. After the show, the flooring materials, AstroTurf and flex flooring were donated to Habitat for Humanity.

In addition to the building materials, a sustainable approach was also taken to all aspects of the catering, which offered locally sourced, fair-trade items with reduced packaging and compostable cutlery. Echoing our approach to eco-friendliness and waste reduction, we were very excited to be a part of creating this experience for Aptiv.
